Why we're here

Sandwich Fencing exists because most fencing jobs in Sandwich are built to the wrong spec. Lap panels on marsh-side boundaries that will not last a decade. Timber posts on the Bay side that rot at the ground line in five winters. Cheap fixings that let go in the first proper westerly. We started this company to build fences that hold up here specifically, not fences that hold up in a generic sheltered suburb.

Who we are

Sandwich Fencing is a trading name of NordSys Limited. Founded by Richard Lim. Small crew, direct relationships with customers, no call centre in the middle. When you WhatsApp the number, you get us.

Where we work

Sandwich town CT13, Sandwich Bay Estate, Ash, Woodnesborough, Worth, Eastry, Staple, Wingham - anywhere within a comfortable van run of the Cinque Port. Beyond that we start to lose the local-ground advantage that makes us worth calling.

What we won't do

• Build a fence to the wrong spec for the ground. If you ask for lap panels on Sandwich Bay we will tell you honestly they won't last, and either build closeboard or walk away.
• Quote a repair on a fence that shouldn't be repaired. If three panels of a ten-run are gone, we tell you a rebuild is cheaper over the next five years than four separate visits.
• Undercut a proper build. The Kent 2026 prices on this site are what fair work costs when done right. If someone is doing it for half that, they are either using seconds-grade timber, skipping the gravel board, or planning to be back in three years for round two.

Guarantee

A proper job or you pay nothing. That means if the finished fence doesn't do what we said it would - stand plumb, keep the wind out, close the gate clean, look right against the house - you don't pay. In practice we've never had a customer take us up on that because we plan the build with them so the finish is not a surprise. But it's there in writing.
